Hi there! My name is Ashley McFarland! I live in Southern California with my hubby and three little girls! Karis (4 years old), Bexley (2 years old) and Jovie (6 months old). It is safe to say daddy has been outnumbered! My husband and I are wedding photographers, coffee lovers, beach bums, and Disneyland enthusiasts! Being self employed, and raising a tiny girl gang at the same time is crazy! Sometimes crazy fun, and sometimes just plain old CRAZY!
Raising my tiny girl gang comes with all kinds of emotions! Some days are filled with laughter and fun activities, and some days are filled with tears and frustration. Three little humans, three big personalities, and three sweet girls needing their mommy every single day. THAT is my biggest victory! My girls need me. They need me every day. They need me to be their voice, to be strong for them, and to fight for what is right. They need to look up to their mommy and see KINDNESS. Not just to the people that are easy to be kind to, but to everyone.
They need to look up to their mommy and see LOVE. They need to feel loved and see me showing love towards the people we encounter! They need to look up to their mommy and see FUN! They need a mommy that can let messes happen; a mommy that gets down on their level to play with barbie dolls and play makeup! They need to look up to their mommy and see BRAVERY. Life is scary and life is tough sometimes; I want my girls to be able to conquer this life not afraid. Not afraid of what someone might think, or say. THIS is my greatest victory. Yes, my greatest victory is a hot mess sometimes, and a constant work in progress. Do I have all of these things down perfectly? HECK no! But it is what I strive for. If my girls can grow up to be kind, loving, fun and brave, well I think THAT is the greatest victory of all.
